Just wanted to post some April updates with me and Godcraft in general.

Adventures Server Update:
I just wanted to let you know how the adventures server has been going since Launch. Pretty much since the day we launched we have been able to keep the TPS at 20 and this is even when we had over 40+ Online. Though the population has dropped a bit the players creativity has not and neither has the TPS since launch. Now for the 1.5 update at this time we feel strong to stay with 1.4.7. There is a lot of issues right now including a high chance that RedPower might not be updated for 1.5. If RedPower does get updated then we will reevaluate updating at that time.

Build Server Update:
For the build server we are going to stay at 1.4.7 at this time only because of the lack of interest on the server right now. We don't have enough testers or interest to bother updating the server at this time. With a lot of 1.5 bugs we just feel at this time we put a hold on any updates. But this does not mean we will not update in the future and we have no plans on shutting it down.

Ending:
Over all the next couple of months will be relaxing for all. Mostly at this time nothing special is going to happen besides my new Let's Play Series on http://youtube.com/CabinGamer besides that... Relax have fun and check out the Adventure server if you have not yet! We would love to see more players and this is the first Tech Server we have ever done without ANY and I mean ANY lag!

This was a silly 2013 April Fools.

Due to not making enough Money to buy my Pepsi Max I have decided to give Electrobot control of the site/server over the next few days. It was worth it when I could buy myself a couple cases of Pepsi Max every couple of weeks but since the decline of VIP 3 Subscriptions its just not worth my time to deal with little kids anymore.

So please direct all questions and issues right to Electrobot for now on and in before EE 2.0 gets added to Adventures.

I want to give you a heads up that this Wednesday 13th, Minecraft 1.5 is coming out and this is one of the biggest releases when it comes to bring more redstone mechanics into Minecraft. As such I assume the update period on Godcraft will be slightly slower then normal but hopefully not to bad. My best prediction of events since people expect me to know everything lol.

Build Server: 2-4 Weeks, Will require a lot of testing of all the new features and make sure there is no major exploits, dupes, etc. Overall just a really good testing and reporting. If testing/reporting was like the last update then expect Build server to stay 1.4.

Adventure Server: 4-8 Weeks, Like always the Adventure server will take the longest. We have no plans on any wipes at this time or any planned wipes in the near future. Adventure Server will be updated forever as long as their is a fair amount of players. Once again 4-8 Weeks is a nice prediction. This is Majority of the major mods we use and play actually do update.

Creative Server: 1-2 Weeks, Expect an update right away as long as the majority of the plugins are not broken. We want you guys to be able to jump on and do your creative builds for 1.5 Asap!

Please note, I follow the mods and plugins and don't need any reminders. I do this on my free time and as well do local testing usually before I even post any new news updates. As always be patient and hope for the best.

It’s finally time to release the Minecraft Redstone Update pre-release!
The change log is as follows…

• Added Redstone Comparator (used in Redstone logic)
• Added Hopper (collects items and moves them to containers)
• Added Dropper (similar to Dispensers, but always drops the item)
• Added Activator Rail (activates TNT Minecarts)
• Added Daylight Sensor
• Added Trapped Chest
• Added Weighed Pressure Plate
• Added Block of Redstone
• Added Nether Brick (item)
• Added Nether Quartz and ore
• Added Block of Quartz, with half blocks and chiseled variants
• New command: /scoreboard
• New command: /effect
• Containers and mobs can have custom names
• Inventory management has been changed, for example you can drag-place items over slots
• Texture packs now have separate images for each block and item, and can have animations
• Nether Quartz Ore now spawns in the Nether
• Smooth lighting now has three settings (none, minimal, maximum)
• More detailed death messages
• Some hostile mobs now are harder in Hard difficulty
• Many, many, bug fixes
• Removed Herobrine childish fucking devs.

This update will be officially released next week on
