This is same, but more descriptive. If it doesn't work, try deleating your bin, redownload the new update thus replacing your bin, and try replacing your client again. If that doesn't work, maybe someone else can take reins of help from here.

Open start menu. Search all programs for "%appdata%" open roaming folder. Open .minecraft folder. Bin should be here. Iside bin is the minecraft.jar. this is the client.

Then delete everything minecraft on your computer, backup your single player saves, if you have any. Then delete your .minecraft folder and minecraft.exe. Then download minecraft.exe from minecraft.net. Launch, download the 1 of the 3 godcraft .jars and replace the default .jar with that.

You can't double click the .jar file.

    1. Download the file with mods you want and place it in a NEW FOLDER on your desktop
    2. download this file: http://blank.me/files/replace-minecraft-jar.bat and save it in the SAME FOLDER.
    3. Run the .bat file. (please read disclaimer at bottom of this post first)
    4. Run Minecraft.exe (the one with the grass icon)
    5. Rejoice... and dig in Moria!

for the record, it is a very bad idea to download and run .bat files from strangers on the internet. (virus, trojan, damage in general to your computer)

This batch file is perfectly harmless as it just runs this command:
    copy minecraft.jar %appdata%\.minecraft\bin
    pause

it overwrites the jar file in the correct folder with the one in the current folder

you can right click and select "edit" on the batch file to confirm that that is the only command it is executing.
