    The books give some descriptions about the tower, but I haven't gotten so far yet. It describes as a tower with corridors, rooms and halls that defy the mind. ^^

    I really want to start the build IC but seeing people way ahead of me just takes out all of my motivation. (No one to race with in advancing tech)

    However , I'm excited for PVP IC , I'm not a PVP guy but seeing that I will get a chance to start with everyone who are kind of the same noob as me gives me more motivation on learning IC.

    I have tested the JAR version and it does work on Mac. Unless told otherwise I would assume it does work on Linux as well.

    Bug: the electric jetpack seems to stack the fall-height from each time you fly up and down without landing - which makes it impossible to land anywhere but in water if you want to survive.

    This is because of Minecraft code that determines the damage base on the highest height you reached before landing again.
    You have a couple of solutions 1. Rubber boots which will keep you from dying from up to a 162 blocks drop instead of 23. 2. Quantum boots, which negates all fall damage.
