    Dota 2 = 60k peak players on a weekend.
    League of Legends, stats 1 year old, and the game is thriving even more.
    • Between NA and EU servers, peak concurrency has reached 500,000 players
    • Players spend an aggregate total of 3.7 million hours in-game every day
    Although the fan base between Dota and LoL is always at each others throats. I just posted this to really say both sides are extremely bias, and it really comes down to personal preference, so try out both and pick you're favorite. I went from 6k Dota Allstar games to League, and never looked back.


    On topic: Since the pvp server started all I heard was bitching about it (And I've only been here for like 6 days).

    From my knowledge factions has always been more of a popular method.

    It sounds like I really ought to work on porting the newest Railcraft. There seems to be a lot of trouble with the current 5.3.2 port, but I've never heard of any major issues with my releases. It sounds like this server is going to be using quite a bit of the work I've done, MCUpdater and the ports of AdditionalPipes, ABO, and probably Railcraft.

    I've had this idea for awhile...

    How about have the server have two worlds

    World 1 (starter world):
    PvP like normal, in the middle theres a X x X section where there is NO PVP and a portal to a PvE World

    World 2 (PvE World):
    This world is HARDCORE, if you die you get sent back to PvP for around a day. It would encourage camping in PvE and having a PvP too.

    You need to balance the two areas (no pvp-Hisec and pvp-Lowsec) like in Perpetuum or EVE. You canot have all on the PVP area cos people need rest and time to get the gear and what now. To make them go to lowsec remove uranium, coal, hell anything really good from the hisec.
