Since everyone has been complaining about echo's coming from my headset i have decided to buy a new one. The problem is that i don't know which one to buy? Any suggestions?

I was going to buy those, but i heard stories how they don't work very well for the computer. Even the guy at best buy suggested if I did not need them for the xbox, go with something made just for the pc. Then again i've never had them. And they are only 5.1 surround sound, the Logitech are around the same price but 7.1. So i guess it goes down whether you want to use them with both ps3/xbox and the pc.

Yeah I was done with wired after breaking 4 of them. This is a really nice headset, you should try returning yours and getting this one.

It's been too long since I got it to replace it. Plus Idk where the original packaging went. Regardless of wireless or not, it's a great headset.

EDIT: Wtf is with the price for that headset being 40 dollars less on the US newegg than the Canada newegg. not fair.

Is this the mic you use on Vent? If so, it sounds horrible.

Not actually . That's my laptop's built-in mic. That's why it sounds horrible since I just talk to my screen. I use my headsets specifically for my PS3. But I'm pretty sure you can use them with PC as well.

This is what I have right now and they are pretty damn great. I have them for a year now without any faults. 5 stars!

i would advise against the trittons, dont get me wrong they're fantastic but im on my 3rd headset in 12 months and now i can use them for vent or anything because when i plug the vocal into my computer i get some sort of feedback error. i would really suggest something like the Creatives Fatal1ty. i use them currently and im yet to have an issue with them and vent/recording.

I would adivse against the Fatal1ty though, I had one for about 2 years, but the microphone can be plugged out to make them to hear-only headsets and somehow my microphone broke and I couldn't get it working again. Had to bypass it with some tape and an additional cable. Another problem I had were headaches after 2-3 hours of gaming since I need to wear glasses and the ear shells from the Fatal1ty punish glasses.
Right now I am using a Logitech G35 (like GTA linked) and it is really working well. Not a single problem yet, and lots of fun with the voice morphing. Also the 7.1 which you can turn on and off with a single controller makes this headset really great.
